Located in the heart of the French Riviera, our site in Grasse (06) works with customers in the aerospace, nuclear, naval, and offshore sectors on projects involving the design of tools, test machines, and flight parts.
As part of the ongoing development of our business, we are looking for :
AN OIL & GAS MECHANICAL DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (M/F)
Reporting to the Engineering Department, you will be responsible for the mechanical design, industrialization, and manufacturing support of mechanical systems, some of which are high-pressure systems. You will be involved in the entire product life cycle, in compliance with safety and reliability requirements and international Oil & Gas standards.
In this role, your main tasks will be:
Design management, development, and sizing ;
Definition of materials, heat treatments, and coatings suitable for harsh environments (H₂S, CO₂, offshore) ;
Industrialization management : machining processes, assembly, tools, and inspections ;
Application of DFM/DFA principles from the design phase onwards ;
Compliance with API, ASME, ISO, NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 standards ;
Participation in risk analyses (FMEA, HAZOP) and design reviews ;
Support for series production and resolution of technical issues in the field ;
Participation in tests, FAT, qualifications, and customer audits ;
Acting as a technical reference for “swivels” and providing technical support to junior engineers.
With a five-year higher education degree (engineering school or university) in mechanical engineering, you have 5 to 15 years of experience in the design and industrialization of oil and gas equipment or similar (nuclear or general industry.
You have a good understanding of mechanical pressure systems and a solid knowledge of heavy and precision machining processes
Knowledge of API, ASME, and NACE standards, as well as experience in an offshore or high-pressure environment, are real assets.
B2 level English is essential.
You are communicative and curious, with strong analytical skills and the ability to come up with new ideas.
Permanent position available in Monaco (98), salary between €45,000 and €65,000 per year depending on profile and experience + benefits.
